Default bj v3 panels

I was gonna paint up some v3 BJ panels for my buddy's build but the templates I printed out are only 2.5" wide roof and hood, is that right?

measured mine. both are 2 11/16th inch wide... and these are OG BJ3 panels...

Hmm ok thanks for taking the time to do that. Chassis is legal right? 3" wide? I just wanna make sure before I use a sheet of lexan...
