I'm finally getting around to converting my crawlers to the Revo joints, and stocking up on hardware and aluminum rod at Mcmaster. Where are people getting the good (grade 12.9 or above) setscrews to thread into the Revo joints? I had a hard time finding grade 8.8 or above. |

I've always just used allthread. Plenty strong... Or, if you feel you need the super strong stuff and can't find grub screws long enough, get some bolts of the length you want and cut the heads off of them. |

i had a helluva time trying to find some stuff for links but found some.. i used 1/4" aluminum tubing and 8/32" all thread and traxxas rod ends and made these in a few minutes. |

i want to make some crazy bent links with a jig will 1/4 aluminum work do i need to thread allthread all the way thrue the tubeing first

well if you bend the tube without the all thread in there you wont be able to put it in there at all....soo......yes

what i am asking is when you make links are you just cutting peaces of allthread to put in the ends or are you running the all thread all the way thrue the aluminum
