| inconsistant tire thicnkess
Has anyone here noticed if their tires have a really inconsistant thickness? When i was cutting my tires i noticed that when i cut the same ammount off at 2 different places some sports were really soft. i even cut through when removing one of the treads but only in 1 spot (this wasnt like a slip or accident) Also i have noticed that some spots on the sidewalls are really soft too, whilst others are very firm. is this normal or what? |

I have also noticed this. One of my tires cut through on five lugs in a row, and i was cutting exactly the same. Oh well, just superglued a sliver of rubber to cover it up and your good to go. Can't really complain though when their only $10.

yeah I started a thread awhile back and it's from when they poor it into the mold or something . I can't remember but every set I got is like that. The one thing is when I cut through the tire it has crazy flex and I don't care about the tires anyway. I have 3 set's uncut sitting in my living room.

| Inconsistancies
I am pretty sure these tire are all spun up in some blow molding machine and there's no way these are of any specific consistency. they all probably weigh the same or pretty dam close that's probably about all the consistancy you are going to get. These things are for looks and general use not competition. Just my 2 cents worth |
