ok if this is the wrong section please move it but i am having problems with the rear drive shaft and the input shaft on the rear end. under strain the drive shaft just spins on the the input shaft. i tried tighten the allen screw on the driveshaft but it wont hold. thanks for the help guys.

is it on the flat spot? take out that grub screw, replace with a new one, and make sure to put thread lock on it. saw your location is columbia, columbia MO?? |

• Inspect the input shaft of the axle, make sure that it isn't rounded. • Recommend getting another set screw. - Clean the input shaft with some isopropyl alcohol - Clean the bolt hole that the set screw goes in to the same way - If you can't get a new set screw, clean that too • Get some blue loctite - With everything clean/new, put a drop of the loctite on the set screw - Screw the set screw in half way - Put the drive shaft on the axle and tighten down the set screw, ensuring it the set screw is making contact with the flat part of the input shaft - Before you run the truck, let the loctite set up over night ... yup, this should be in the AX10 section. |

thanks guys i had it on the flat spot but it is still just spinning. blue loctite and clean it input shaft. also is the a hardware store that i may be able to pick up a set screw?

You might be able too get a set screw from the Hardware store, i know the one by me has some. take yours there and ask if they sell them.

I had the same problem today. Gonna go to the store and see if I can get some new set screws.

You can use cianopan glue or chinese super glue, whatever is the name for it out there. That will help. At least it works here lol
