Default Best Source For Hardware EVER!!!

Just wanted to let you guys in on my dirty little secret on where to get hardware in bulk.

www.mcmaster.com

They have it all. From metric threaded rod to set screws to general fasteners, both hex head and standard phillips and flat head. The small M3 and M4 lock nuts we use, washers, everything!

Scratch builders and fabricators should LOVE this site.

Who knows, maybe driving down the price of hardware might help lower the cost of a few items???.....

Thanks for letting the secret out about McMaster

Search for McMaster on here and see how many times people recommend them on this site.

If you think mcmaster is a deal try these guys. More options and better prices. They ship just as fast also. I use mcmaster for my material purchases but fastener express gets all my hardware orders

You can delete it yourself. I didn't see anyone being a jackass, maybe you need to toughen up a little.

Ya know what dipschit I find it personalty offensive that you wanna call me a jackass for showing you that you could save some money and get some good service elsewhere. The idea of a forum is to share good info with our crawler buds and to key people into good places to buy parts

I'm glad you found them.

As an ex-facilities guy, I've been using them since ~1980. I also found they were great for the RC hobby as well.
Since their closest warehouse is in south NJ & I am in north NJ, if I order before lunch I can get parts later that day or the next day most times.

There are some cheaper sites, but MC is pretty decent for lots of things.

Oh, and please don't cop a frikkin attitude to other posts in this thread......you won't like most forums if you do. Just saying.

Thanks for letting others know about MC, they may not have done a search here.

Actually. I do like your source better. Your post showed after mine. I didn't see it before hand. So I Deff thank you for that. I had been digging high and low for cheap source to find aluminum anodized hardware for my Summit.

And everyone else. You make me laugh. Which is why its worth sticking around.

I'be known of MC for a while. Crawlers aren't my first foray into RC or working on things.. Been building cars my entire life.

You know what I find personally offensive? Trying to read such posts with lack of spelling and punctuation.

Whatever. You guys and your stories.

I suppose the next thing you're gonna tell me is that you can access a vast amount of information, news, and media, and talk to people all over the globe from a computer set up right in your very own home. Yeah. That'll be the day...
