| Carrying your Crawler into the field
I got sick of carrying my radio and crawler and whatever else I need out in the field and fumbling around with it all for the hike, so I accidentally came up with a free way to carry it. All I did was take an extra shoulder strap (like from a gym bag you don't use anymore) and hooked up the 2 extra Velcro straps that come with your crawlers (that hold the battery) to each end of the strap then around the axle of your crawler.....then all you have to do is put it around your shoulder Velcro straps at the end of the shoulder strap Attached to the crawler And...attached to you! That easy |

very good idea! i use a two pouch camelback with straps on it that hook up to the axle and put my tx, batteries, spare parts, and tools in the two pouches and fill my beverage compartment. its small backpack but can hold all my necessary gear if i have to hike a little. when i get to where im going all i have to do is unsnap, pull my tx out an ready to go crawlin.

I just carry mine. Though I do hate to carrry it when it gets all muddy then I have mud on my hands and get it all over my spektrum controllers. |

I've been contemplating making a similar setup with a leather strap and 2 snaps. |

I use a over night back pack with hydration the 28.00 one at wal mart. Its big enough to slip a few flat tackle box style boxs my radio lunch camera and what ever else is in there. I take the bungee pull tights on the out side to lay my crawler on top of the pack the use a mini climbing hook to hook it to the carry handle. Extreamly stable and if you pack right every things there when you need it |

Great idea!n I've wondered if I could find my old news paper delivery bag, I think it would work as well but I haven't used/seen that thing in 30 years! I know my mom has it stashed somewhere in her house....

I use a backpack. Pack light with tools, batteries, and controller inside. My rig gets bungee chorded to the outside. Very comfortable Sorry, no pictures of it.... |
