Default Getting started

Been into RC before, never crawled. Looking to build my first one, cause thats what I do, I build stuff, usually 1:1, but this should be fun. Here's what I got so far.

This was a quick drawing I did in inventor since my AutoCAD isn't working, nevertheless, here she is, more of a capable crawler than the scaler I was going for. I've decided to go full tube chassis out of solid 3/16" 6061 rod. Will have full independent suspension for the convenience, but I will make it as capable as possible.

Here's a little design update, been playin' with concepts today and I think I've got it figured out about where I want it now.

Full tube chassis, still need to draw in mounts for everything, but this is the base. (Just realized I missed a few pieces in the profile shot 0.o)

Idea of the final concept, should look just about like this. Obviously there will be more to it.

Looks a bit like a honcho. But your doing a full tube chassis. What are you planning to use as far as tube materials?

I'll be using 3/16" solid 6061 extruded rod.
