Default Lowest voltage?

Just wondering what the lowest we could run one of these on?

I want to put in my novak xrs esc and use my radio since they are just sitting around.

not sure if I can even use the lead acid with the xrs?

there is someone here running his motors on 6 cells (i think thats right)

a motor is a motor, it will just spin slower with less volts

the optimal voltage is about the same for the motors as it is for the electronics. (at least 10ish) otherwise they lose torque and speed
