Default Anyone else find this amusing

XR guys going to metal axles....Berg guys going to delrin axles. I know both are for different reasons. I am easily amused I guess

Well, plastic on the bottom and metal on the top makes the most sense in reality. I don't find it all that surprising. Plastic slides better and metal holds screws in better.

If the XR were Delrin I dought it very much if anyone would change them...

+1, Delrin is totally different from injection molded plastic which is what most "mass produced" axles are.
Delrin is stronger, more durable and slides better over rocks.
