| Where to buy gunnar beef tubes
Just wondering how many vendors carry this or a similar product and where I can find it! Thanks in advance. If you have had a set machined, I'd also be interested in hearing about the costs. I am always looking to patronize companies which practice fair labor standards. Last edited by opek; 08-08-2011 at 06:51 PM. |

I see that since he manufactures them in Chinaland he is the only one who can sell them.

I guess you should read where Casey is from. Casey is a top notch vendor putting out some kick a$$ parts. You will not be disappointed. Oh ya, he also provides top notch customer service. |

Sounds fair to me! I promise I will ship them from the good ol' USA, and I do not know how to speak Chinese...I do admit I ate a cat once, but that was on a dare, so it doesn't really count. Last edited by gunnar; 08-08-2011 at 09:41 PM. | |

On a sidenote I haven't had any issues on my Axial axles where the C's are on a few of my rigs...I run VP and Axial C hubs. Have people been breaking axle housings around this weak point or is this to just get rid of some play? |

I bought the tube that fits inside the housing from McMaster a few weeks after that, and made the first prototype of the tube then. I did take some pics, but did not put them on Photobucket yet, and my computer crashed shortly after, losing my original pics. I still have the orginal tube I made, it's in my scrap steel box somewhere, but it pretty much looks like what KC sells now. I wanted something a bit stronger, with the ability to clock the C where I wanted to, so when I built the FF-4 rig I came up with this idea to not only fit inside the housing, but to hold the bearing and support the C as well: When Casey saw this, he contacted me about selling them, so my original idea became the standard beef toobs, and this second idea became the basis of the longer beef toob.
