| Aluminum FJ40 nose
A fellow club member came to me a while back about making an aluminum replica of the lexan FJ nose on his class 3 rig. well i finally finished it. I started with the lexan piece of course and divided it up in sections to pour resin in. here are the parts as the came out of the molding process Then i cleaned them up and cut them into sections and ran some test pieces then clipped them together to see how they all fit. I'm bringing it to our next comp this weekend to work out the mounting details. |

very very cool what gauge alum do you use and do you heat it up to soften it? and what kind of material are you makeing the bucks from?..i kinda want to try it..great stuff man..i guess i can find those answers in your yota build
