| HR axle help
So the axle tube housing finally stripped a thread where the c-hub mounts, i am not looking to get any other axles just need to know where i can get short and long axle tube replacements, i tried the HR site but couldn't find them.

I had the same prob occur when i had mine. Just find a machinist and install 3mm helicoils. After this mine lasted 3 more seasons and another owner. You can do it yourself if you have the insert tool for helicoil. Not much different then tapping a hole. |

Thanks for the idea, i already had a contingency plan and that was to tap a larger size hole 3.5-4mm , but the helicoil insert is bettter, now i would really appreciate a link for the exact tool i would have to buy, i googled it but i am not 100% sure what i need and it is a long way to Honduras to try and return a wrong part |
