Default Front dig question

Ok, so I just traded for a Losi Comp Crawler, and its pretty stacked with stuff. Its set up with the dig system, and as I understand it, can work the front or the back wheels seperate. I understand rear dig, as my last AX10 had a DNA dig unit installed. So what would you use the front for? Can't wait until it shows up.

Thanks!

Actually an AX10 is only capable of front dig. You use the front wheels to dig the rig around. A rear dig comes in handy in several situations. If your rear wheels get bound up you can operate the rear wheels to try to free the rig without the front wheels trying to pull the rig tighet into the bind. You can also rear dig on a sidehill to scoot the rear end over if needed. These are just a couple of situations I have encountered. The more you drive your truck the more handy I think you'll find it.

Sorry but no. That depends on how the gearbox is placed. It can be installed for front dig or rear dig.
2 ways.

As for the LCC. The option of both rear or front dig is great. It's like having a moa with shaft driven axles.
During the entire year I have beaten 2 bergs and 1 XR10 and a few AX10's. With a stock LCC

I don't fully understand why someone would want to mount it backwards unless you wanted to use it to shift from rwd to 4wd in a scaler, but I see your point. I stand corrected. Never really thought about it until now.
