|  Pros and Cons
Could someone please explain the pros and cons of a 550 size motor versus a 540 size in a crawler or rock racer like the wraith??? thanks in advance for any info |

The longer can and armature of a 550 makes more torque than a shorter 540. The only downsides to the 550 is that it doesn't fit in some chassis, and it consumes more amps = slightly shorter run times. I'm not sure why, but open endbell (read: servicable) 550's are not easy to find. I still have a Kyosho Magnetic Mayhem that is ticking. |
