The center diff looks like the same plastic case as all the AX series, I bet you can mess with the ring and pinion gearing on this if you so desired.

Ahh....just when I sunk around $700 into a Wraith kit (still a WIP) and parts this beauty comes along. Well looks like this might be my next purchase. Great job Axial!

Definitely going to wait it out until at least February to see how it performs.

Finally 32p gears! Wonder how big of a motor we can squeeze in there...

It's a bit pricey, but I can't hold that against it since you are getting what you pay for with this one. I mean it's gonna take some coin to injection mold all those pieces. The motor mount, on the other hand, is a bit complex for something easily mastered with a chewing gum wrapper. It can't all be perfect, but it is pretty cool.

I also bought a Wraith shortly after they came, drove it a few times then stripped it down to start modifying it and that is how it still sits..

But I will be getting the Exo as soon as it hits the LHS.

It is truely a beautiful car. With the right set-up, it would make a great basher-sand duner-desert runner. I can't see buying one of these within 4 months of buying my Wraith, so I guess I will just close my eyes...

Is it just me or do the front tires look more narrow than the rear tires?

Hankook Dynapro MT Tires: The EXO features realistic, officially licensed Hankook Dynapro MT tires that perform as good as they look. The front tires are narrow (34mm) which help the EXO navigate the terrain while the rear tires are wide (41mm) putting the power to the ground with enough traction to keep the EXO firmly planted. Internal ribbing helps reinforce the sidewall to prevent it from folding over which keeps the tires working at peak performance.

Doesn't look like it. Axial deviates a bit from their own norm. No RTR as a first, but immediately a kit with all sorts of goodies, but no motor or ESC.
It could be, though, that they have a RTR planned. Who knows what they'll pull out of their hat .

I guess it would be perfect for a LRP550

I am positively stoked, and am considering ordering it in The States, despite the criminal 50% import-and19% VAT that's charged overhere in The Netherlands if ordered directly from The US.
I got away without paying a lot of taxes and stuff with my Venom Vmx 450 by letting tower stamp it with " toy-parts" worth $ 35.- Maybe it'll work again.
I hate having to wait for months before cool rigs come from The States to Europe. Especially because The Netherlands are rife with distributors that arrogantly decide there is no market fr American style off-road rigs. The Slash woke'm up for a bit, but only after we Dutchies started to order American RC en masse from Tower, and Horizon in the UK.

They suddenly realized they were losing out, and if there's one thing a Dutch business person hates, it would be misssing out on a couple of cents... it' said that we will never sell our Mother..........unless the offer is high enough
