The wheels are just fine, and how hard do you really think putting 17mm slash adapters on would be?!I personally think the wheels look perfect!!

| Holy crap! I just now noticed it myself. I figured that was a molding line in the tire, not the dang wheel. Major fail, HPI! I hate 2.2/3.0 wheels on anything claiming to resemble real/scale vehicles, but that would be a huge improvement in this case. I would've preferred true 2.2 wheels on both of these rigs, but I guess if they're going to be racers, the 2.2/3.0 thing is inevitable.

| I like the Axial better
It looks alot more aggressive in appearance, the HPI looks more sand buggyish ,they should've went all out on that HPI and put rear trailing arms then I would've been sold !!Knowing Axial can you imagine the amount of after market support it's gonna have ,I'm Exo'ed all day !! HPI is still nice !! |

But I was saying you can see the back of the rim in the pics above. It's clear to see that it's larger inner diameter. | |

Looks like the HPI Apache C1 buggy is not in the same class as the Axial EXO. From the below video it looks big, more around the size of an SC8. "HPI unveils a 1/8-scale electric off-road buggy called the Apache C1 Flux" |
