Looking at the vid, the wheels do look like 1/8th scale buggy wheels

EDIT
OK, now look at this video, (at 3:15) it's some kind of shield around the regular size 2.2/3.0 wheel. Odd.

I really like this rig! Nice work Axial!
I think its great they are coming out with a kit,
I mean the stock electronics would get replaced anyways.
Plus most that get this will have some sort of Tekin
or Castle shortcourse or 1/8 th scale buggy motor
and esc set up laying around anyways.
Will give me a chance to pick out the electronics I want.
I gotta have one!

Axial buggy is way better looking than that HPI buggy. Axial and the designers really out did themselves on this kit.

Good catch. If you look at :42 you can very clearly see it without the shield thingy. Actually looks really good. After further looking at it they show two different rigs with different wheel and tire setups. I R confused. Is the more scale looking tired rig the rumored Short Course truck?

Default exo

I think I'm going to have to have a exo to replace my loss of my 1to1 baja bug I built and sold when I moved to wisconsin. It's crazy to see turnkey engine supply on the side of the buggy shots from sema since thats what was on the side of my baja . I'm good freinds with the owner of turnkey and was around since the start of his bussiness. It's cool to see the new exo in his booth at sema. I miss the desert bad and my old car but maybe this will fill a bit of the gap.

To my knowledge, this is the first Axial product that isn't aimed directly at a specific market segment. It looks like they're going for mass market, highly generalized appeal, which is getting away from their roots.

The fully bodied "complete" looking version with the extra pieces on the tires is a pre-production prototype. The second one they show without the cage or body and regular SC looking tires and wheels is the production version.

Custom stuff will always be cool! Besides, I bet the EXO hood and interior will fit nicely in there

I'm just pissy because I can't build any more RC stuff until I sell some. I want this new buggy! Maybe I'll give up the Wraith for it.

4 Quadcopters
2 Helicopters
2 Mini-zs
HPI Calsonic Skyline
Wraith custom Tamiya Bronco
SCX10 custom Tamiya Unimog
TCS 1/5 Baja Savage Flux Conversion
Cup Racer
M05
F105

thank god I don't have a wife

If that's your 69 Camaro under your user name, then you can keep the Wraith, I'll buy you an EXO and trade you for the car. Deal?
