Anywhere from $100-175 I'd say. Reliability is key though as I only like to buy things once and would like to use this vehicle for years to come. Like I said, I do not see myself going for 3S and I tend to take care of my toys. I've been eyeing the Castle Sidewinder SCT setup but have seen a number of people having problems with it.

Wouldn't recommend the sidewinder combo, at least the mmp/1410 combo. The tacon/xerun stuff has been as reliable as castle stuff for me when kept within normal operating temps. Vxl combo may also be an option.

Others will chime in I'm sure.

I'm guessing the Tacon/XErun stuff is from hobbyking/hobbypartz? The Mamba Max Pro setup looks good and its within the price range I'm looking at (up to 175). I'm trying to convince my brother to sell me his Losi (really Castle) brushless esc setup from his SCTE RTR and he can upgrade to the Mamba Monster. The stock one in the Losi is a MMP, from what I understand.

Battery size depends on how good of an ESC you get for it. MMP will run 5s I think.

Color availability is whatever you want since it's a kit.

DUH! Didnt even think about that, as far as the colors go.

With the battery size, Im just asking size wise because it fits into a pretty small area, im not sure a 5s could fit.

The adjustable straps might allow a 5s to fit. They are rubber too I would find out what battery they fit in the car in the article, get the dimensions of it then get the dimensions of your 5s. You might be able to do some eyeball measuring with the pictures Axial has posted already.

Since they're running 32 pitch gears now on 1/10 does anyone know if the spur gear is mod1, mod8?

32p is very close to mod .8, close enough to use together.

This is exactly why I didn't get all excited and preorder one. Everybody thought they would get to play with it for christmas and Axial gave everybody blue balls again. Plus they are gonna do the same thing every big company does when they have a huge release and just keep putting it off hopeing to build more interest in the item.

Way to go Axial I wonder what will come first next year the Exo or my tax return

Never tought i was gonna get it before christmas, thats to be way optimistic.

Of course i did understand that it would probably be pushed forward even more, but you can always hope for the best!
