Some picks from today's work at the office. EXO style ps: Thanks Brandon! That's what happens when you get tired. See my waterproofing ESC thread: Post #12,13 Water Proofing Electronics Last edited by Hunter711; 03-27-2012 at 06:03 PM. Reason: Added link |

Beefed up areas I could, Ti links, RC4WD rod ends, RCSkewz, 36/14 gears, Power Strokes. Runnin' 48/22 spur/pin, 3s, Mamba Max w/5700kV. Insane wheel speed. For general bashing, might just use 2s(wrong!). Waterproofed ESC, see my thread http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/elect...st3590585.html Last edited by Hunter711; 03-12-2012 at 06:11 PM. Gearing to tall. Took outside in the real world and thermal shutdown. Going to drop pinion down from 22t to 15t and see how that works. Here's some more pics of build. Proline Shocks on rear will make you work to get them to fit right and provide the best dampening and free movement.

Here some tweaks to conceder: Rear camber -2* Front toe out about 4* Rear springs yellow/green Front springs yellow/red Nice to be able to adjust ESC at a whim. This brings back memories of my MP6 racing days with junior. Last edited by Hunter711; 03-09-2012 at 03:29 PM. |

You want to share what you did for the external esc plug ? I used a Y harness and made a double male connecter that plugged into one side of the Y which led outside of the box for easy access...Didnt work with a rx8 esc. (wow, that really could be takin in the wrong context ^^^^^^) |

Perfect, now to find out if it will work with my rx8 or put the MMP back in if it doesnt. I was thinking along those lines when it didnt allow adjustment, except I was trying to figure out how to kill power to the rx and still allow power to the esc for programing |

Yes they do. It would be nice if the hot wire sends the same trigger to the CC to shut down the rx side. I have put it out to the CC techs, waiting on there response. If not, maybe a bit more inquiring/research or just put the MMP back in.

Wow Hunter711 I didn't know you could cram an 1/8 motor in the Exo! How's the weight distribution when airborne since I assume your running 3s tops?
