| Axial AX18
With the rumored and or true loss of losi as a 1.9 comp rig supplier, who will fill this void. We have to keep 1.9 alive. Finding MRC rigs in stores is becoming very difficult. Who thinks axial should fill this void? I know the guys at axial have been working there buts off releasing some big things in the last few years, but I can't be the only one thinking they should produce a 1.9 comp rig. |

Not sure why, 1.9 comp crawling just doesn't appeal to me. 2.2 is plenty fine.

I have both the MRC BND and a Pro. It would be really interesting to see what Axial would come up with..... |

At first I wanted Axial to make a 1.9 but after the fact I really dont care for the class anymore. Now that sportsmen is going national I would rather focus on that then the 1.9 class at competitions.

Whatever it takes to keep the FUN class alive! I know it will keep going in our club as long as we can get parts, but an Axial mini would be awesome!

Personally I think it would be awesome to see an Axial 1.9. What would be cool to see is them learn from the MRC and design it with scaled down axle that accept ax10/sxc10 c's and knuckles. Kinda like flux did with the MRC and the LCC knuckles and c's. Thus making it capable of running any already produced AX outer axle goods like vp 8* c's and knuckles with weights. Also making it already set up for 3mm hardware and a smaller ax10 like trans. They wouldn't even have to design it for the basher or make a RTR. Just build it for the small scale compers that wan to keep the 1.9 alive and let them throw their own electronics at it. Keeping price lower and increasing demand. |

i hope the 1.9 class doesn't die off. i picked up an MRC pro that i'm building up for my son for when he is old enough. i can't say that i would personally run 1.9, but it will be perfect for a kid, and a lot cheaper than a 2.2.

2.2 rigs are dirt cheap now and there's really no use for a 1.9 unless you plan on crawling couches all day !! |

its like raceing carpet cars 1/12 pan is small jumpy and u will notice all the ripples in the carpet but then you run 1/10 pan and they just run over the bumps but as long as i can get parts ill run my 1.9 | |

Id rather see Axial come up with some scale looking 1.9 axles and stuff them under a comp chassis so the scale guys can buy a kit, toss the chassis and have some sweet axles for 1.9 and 1.55 rigs. My 2 cents.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If Axial and Venom were to make a 1.9, I'd buy both of them. But I'm just stupid that way because I think I have to buy every truck I can Unfortunately I don't think either will. I really like my MRC and I think it provides a much different experience than a 2.2 Sportsman can provide. Maybe if Axial came out with one, it would spark more interest. |

the only way i would buy an axial 1.9 is if they used all M3 hardware in it. i bought a MRC Pro roller, opened the box, and imediately sold it because i didn't feel like dealing with the hardware nightmare of FOUR different sized screws! all of which i had possesed none of in my hardware box. but, as it has been stated before in this thread, i think 1.9 is going to die off with the whole 2.2 sportsman. i think 2.2 sprtsman just makes sense, everything is all the same size, making it easier to deal with, IMO. i think this is a sign Losi should step up and make a non worm geared crawler axle to run 2.2 sportsman, or an MOA axle...
