There is also a RC magazine from the UK called Radio Race Car International..

I flipped through one of these at my LHS and it seemed to have lots of useful info in it MAN1026 - Getting Started Rock Crawling @ Great Hobbies

That used to a good mag, haven't seen it in a long time. Only downside to seeing some new stuff we don't always see in USA is the price....it used to come out to about $9 for one issue.
