I'm working on getting the timer working on the iPhone version and then I'll fix the Android version. As far as tablet resolutions, I don't have an Android tablet so I don't even know what things look like in real life Honeycomb (everything looks good in the emulator ). I'll post a higher res Android version for you guys looking to run it on a tablet to see if that helps at all.

I appreciate the feedback as I didn't think it would so damn difficult to write something that really looks simple on the outside.

glad you followed the link! The app definatly has promise, will be great for those comps where I only have 2 score cards with me because I left the rest a mile hike back at the truck (been there done that).

I couldn't find it in my app manager but I found it in browser downloads. Tried to open it and it could not open the file.

Can I get some more detailed instructions for installing this on my phone?
It's an iPhone 4s, being synced on a windows 7 PC.
I went to the site, downloaded the iphone version and it does show up in my itunes. However, installation fails when I try to upload it onto my phone.
Where are the settings mentioned earlier, where I need to ok unauthorized?
Thanks.

I have a Droid X2. When I try to download the file it says the content is not supported on the phone. I checked the box to allow non-market apps, is there something else that has to be done, or does the app not work on the X2?

Is it jailbroken? Apple won't allow 3rd party apps so jailbreaking your phone is the only way to get it working until I put it up in the official app store.

It works on the X2. I just tried my coworker's. Send me an e-mail at ryan at volkswagenrescue dot com and I'll try and help you out. That also works for google talk if you have that (I'm usually invisible so send a message and I'll get it even if I appear offline).

Right now uninstalling and reinstalling is the way I've been doing it. I need to add a couple more database checks and then it should just be able to be overwritten. I'll see if I can play with that today and give you a better answer.

No, I'm not jail broken so I will have to wait until its official. On the bright side for you, that app's worth the dollar to me for sure. I'm sure others will agree.

My project is quite a bit different than this. ProgressTen.com is a full Club management web site that tracks club membership, comp schedules, scoring of each event, and series standings as the season progresses. It even has the capability to manage and track Nationals and smaller regional events and series.

Last year, I was close to release for final testing, but hit a point of absolute burn out in crawling and the software development that pays the bills took a sudden turn to require total focus. ProgressTen was suspended.

After a break from crawling during the spring and summer, I was back and ready to roll. At nationals this year, there were a number of discussions that convinced me to get ProgressTen.com back on track. A bunch of changes, and it's now again, just about to roll into beta testing. There will be more about this in the vendor's section in the next couple weeks.

It worked great at ACC last year. Everyone loved it. As far as this years ACC scoring, well it's under different management this year and the offer was made to set up ACC in the system again. It's still up in the air.

Let me track down an Android phone and check it out. It could be a signing issue.

I figured it wouldn't show up. It's there, just beyond the screen on the bottom. Let me see if I can move some things around to get it all to fit. Thanks for the help
