The iPhone version with the timer is up in the Apple app store. It's version 1.0.2. I had to change a lot in the app so please let me know if you find any issues. If you have any problems upgrading uninstall the old version and install the newest. I added checks to allow it to seamlessly update but I never know.

Downloaded it on Sunday and the timer did not show up on my smaller smart phone screen, sent and email and today it automatically updated to the newest version and now shows all functions on my smart phone, thanks for fixing the issue, I will be trying it out at my next comp

Very cool.
I downloaded the App on my Iph 4s , been playing with it.
The only thing I find is that after a "run" , when you hit reset , it resets the timer but when you start it again it , it dosen't start at 5:00. It starts somewhere else.
Easy to get around, just say "done" and restart the App.
Thanks for this, its COOL. Just wanted to let you know.

I just fixed that (I hope). I submitted it to the App Store. I added a couple more fixes too. When you get the update if you could try it out for me I would really appreciate it. Hopefully Apple approves it in less than a week this time.

Also, I forgot to mention in my last post that the minimum iOS version was lowered to 4.1 so you guys with iPod touches should now be able to download it. Let me know if you have any problems

cool app just down loaded it and started to play with it. one question i have is the 1 point for progress. I thought 2 points were standard for progress.

never mind i figured out the setup option. this is great i will use it at our next comp

you tap the timer, it starts
tap timer when your done, it stops
but when you tap reset, it takes it back to 5:00, when you hit timer again, it picks up where you left off.....
Like DwaneO said above, just hit done, then back into competition, then when you hit the timer, it will start @ 5:00
