| Came with shattered rim? In need of 1 stock rim...
I took off my tires today, even before I have ran the truck (the battery came dead, so I ordered 2 3600 stick packs and a y-harness) and one rim was shattered? What gives? Anybody else have this happen, and does anyone have a spare rim they'd donate to me for just shipping money or shipping money + some money for the rim? Please let me know.

But if you hook up those packs to the nylint stock electronics a shattered rim will be the least of your worrys. | |

Uhh, why? If the stock pack is 14 volts, and the 6 cell packs are 7.2 volts x2 =14.4 volts, there should be no problem. The extra .4 shouldn't hurt...

Because the stock battery is 12 volts and at peak charge is up to around 14 volts. the peak charge on a 7.2v hobby grade pack will put you in the neighborhood of 16 or more volts.

Ahh, you're right. I'll just take the 2 six cell packs and cut em up and make one 10 cell pack. But anyway about the rim.... |

| Not before I rolled it.
I did an endo off of a 4' road base pile and landed on the front tires. 1 bead split about 3/4's of the way around and the inside of both wheels and other bead split about 1/3rd. Anyone know of steel or aluminum wheels that fit with about an 8"OD tire? |
