Default Custom chassis

Good morning guys,

I have a project of a custom rock crawler...
I have already several parts:
-motor 35 turns Tekin HD
-ESC Holmes
-Servo 350 oz/in
-Axial transmission
-Tires and wheel Proline 2.2.
-XR10 shocks

I need C-drive and a custom chassis.

Is there somebody who have plan for a chassis?

Tks guys

Hey Francois, Get a hold of Trenton (Mg200) He built my chassis, "Honch Supreme" and it is one of a kind awesome!!! You can send him a pic of something you would like as inspiration and he can build it. It can be a bit pricey but well worth it!!

Likely no vendor will give away plans.
Best bet is to find a build thread of a chassis you like, then find pictures you can use as a pattern. Things like wheels can give you a scale to get dimensions.
Or, look at pictures and draw up your own.

You could use 1/8" Delrin or Lexan sheet as the side plates as they are easy to cut & shape.

That is good advice. Added to that I have seen some guys draw everything out on graph paper to the scale they want and then just bend metal rod to the dimensions on the paper like a "pattern". I haven't done it myself but if I ever did build a chassis thats the method I would start with.

My son & I have drawn out toppers & chassis plates to full size. When we're happy, we cut them out I usually use 1/8" Lexan, he has used 1/8" Lexan as well as fiberglass PC board material).
Not too hard to do, cut out with a jigsaw/saber saw, finish outer edges with a belt sander (files work, but slower) and go from there.
