I cannot figure out which one I wanna get myself for my christmas present. Either the scx10 or the wraith. Any help with helping me choose one would be awesome.

Pure crawler or scaler=Scx10.
Basher/hill climber=Wraith.

well im getting like 400 and was cannot make up my mind on what i want. Which one has more hop ups/ aftermarket. and for the wraith is there only one body?

Get the SCX. TONS of options out there already too.

Its about good to go right out of the box,
Kit built or RTR, you will have less issues over the Wraith.

To make a Wraith a reliable runner,
you would need to spend close to $400 more.
And its a pain in the ass to work on too boot.

I have 9 custom SCX builds under my belt,
and bought a Wraith RTR just to see what the hype was all about
as soon as it came out and was in stock.

Worst $370 bucks I ever spent on anything RC.

Its a toy quality RC on par with New Bright crap
for what you have to do and spend to make it right,
and I personaly think Axial is shooting itself in the foot
with their newest garbage releases,
while they discontinue their record setting products.

But thats just MHO.

Watch, a bunch of loyal brand junkies will try to hump
me from behind for speaking my mind now... LOL

They can all kiss my ass!

Get the SCX.

in our scale ttc comps the wraiths do pretty well, as do the scx based rigs. i got a slightly warmed over wraith that i hammer on, and its just as fun as my very custom scx based rig.

id say browse the wraith and scx sections and see what the guys are doing and make your decision after you get an idea on what you want/like.

i will say that since the wraith is fairly new its a more exciting platform. don't judge it for what is available for hopups & bodies right now, more are coming...

I have a wraith and it is great. I have crawled with a few people who have the scx 10 and it just was not for me. Just go to each of the forum and take a look. Stop by your local hobby store and see if you can look or take each one for a spin.

I would ask myself what I was planning to do with it, and where I was going too run it..
The scx is a lot of fun on trails, and flatter terrain. The Wraith is more stable, and if setup a right can be a very capable crawler or basher.

Just ordered the new scx10. My birthday present to myself since my birthday is the 29th. Should be here on the 30th. got it for 330 but did a 2 day express shipping to total 355. Not too bad i dont think. now i will have a scaler and a crawler as i am turning my scaler i was building back into the venom creeper. once i get i will post up pics if you guys want me too.
