| RCC Garage?
I think this would be a cool addition to RCC, to easily browse through members garages. Here is an example forum with garages. Motoring Alliance :: MINI Cooper Forums - Most Popular Garages This is a good example of all the details that can be added to a members garage. TF0071 :: 2006 MINI Cooper S - Motoring Alliance :: MINI Cooper Forums Let me know if you guys would like this feature on RCC. |

i think its a great idea. possibly add tabs like in the user profile to seperate comp rigs, 1.9 scale, 2.2 scale, non crawler etc i think alot of users would love this, to draw inspirastion from some of the more talented builders here |

Love the idea, John!! a central place to see all the best builders. Just thought of adding a rating system to rate the builds and possibly the builders skill. Love the garage idea |

A great idea but without some control I think it would be just like the gallery we already have. A lot of people (myself included) don't deserve a dedicated garage. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of wicked builders on here but without some control it would be full of close to stock rigs and dilute the idea and purpose with sub par builds. I think it would work better if it was set up like the "for sale" section, having to be approved before posting. In my opinion only deserving builders should get the privledge of a garage, that would keep it closer to what it should be. I like the idea but would hate to see deserving builds keep getting "bumped" by stock SCX10's. If it's all linked through peoples profiles then I see it being just another gallery that only people looking for would see. Maybe something like the star system, if you qualify then you get one. I know this would make more work for the mods but I think a little quality control would help. Just my 2 cents, I buy more rigs than I build and would feel bad advertising them.

I guess I'm not that familiar with the concept. Would it be a section where the threads were highlights of the vehicle with no comments? I kind of like that idea if that's what it is. Some build threads become so muddied with comments, that it's hard to figure out what's even being built. I like it I think. . |

We do this very thing in some other forums I am in as well. The primary one I use allows 3 vehicles with limited space for mods, pics, etc. You can see a few samples here. 35 in Mickey Thompson MTZ's installed on the 80 |

Looks a lot like Scale4x4's "gallery" with some additional features. Cool I say for sure. How will this work if you do not renew your star? On scale it was a one time payment, can't remember how much. Good for ever I guess.

We have garages on thumpertalk.com and it's cool to check out the other member's rides and mods. You can see all the mods listed and the prices, if the owner puts in all the information. Last edited by Grizzly4x4; 01-06-2012 at 11:22 AM. |

I think it's a great idea, but should be regulated to avoid having bone stock rigs in it. It's something I could see a lot of the awesome custom builders benefiting from.

I think its a great idea, even if people just want to put bone stock scx10 in their garage. great way to look at pics without all the chitchat.

I tried a version of this on my site. It is more for the Auto Enthusiast and didn't have much that pertained to our hobby. This may have changed now. I'll check it out. |

I like the idea as well...how about subsections for skill levels and such. Something like Stock, Modified and Expert. That way if you don't wanna see stock trucks you don't have to.
