Default New Honcho - any new features?

Hi Guys,
I am thinking on Axial SCX10 Honcho RTR. Please do you know what is new in the new version released last Oct.(AX90022)?
it looks same as previous Honcho TR (AX20016), only the price is higher.

Thanks!

the new truck also has 4 link installed on the rear already as well

to sum up,

new wheels and tires (glued) uhhg

has the ripsaws which is nice

spur gear cover

4 link in the rear

new paint job

new drive shafts with means new pinion shafts as well. the new drive shafts have pins that go all the way through the pinion shaft which is pretty cool because the old ones liked to work their way loose.

I think thats it

They are the plus features

the biggest negative is the plastic links throughout.
Removing the Alloy links from the previous kits is a blow.

The RTR always had plastic links. The kits still have aluminum. Lowers anyway.

Too bad they didnt make universal joint axle shafts to replace the dog bone axles like they did in the Wraith kit..... They would be extremely nice to have.

I just picked one up the other day for my next scale build and found something real cool, that they dont say anything about! It has Harden steel tranmission outdrives.

I'll let you know, mine should now be at the shop this coming Wednesday and I'll inventory for any changes. With the sale of Axial I wanted to get a Honcho just in case changes are made.
