Early Bronco 1:1 Inspiration, Help me pick a color!

I've always wanted an early bronco scaler to cruise the trails and walk the dog.. I enjoy 1:1 cars even more than RC...

I'm building a Losi MRC TCS L Trail Scaler with a Tamiya Bronco body and need to choose a color. Quote the one you like. I've already got black Mickey Thompson 1.55 Baja Claw TTC and black steelies on the way. the rest I plan to start tonight.


My previous paint scheme on a wraith I built/sold. Tamiya Anodized Blue with pearl white top.


On with the pictures of 1:1 cool broncos I found. Help me pick a color and enjoy!

I like the 10th picture down. That is a awesome color. Don't know how you'd match but it my favorite. All the other colors have been done.

If you look at the first 1:1 Bronc, it looks almost 2 tone due to the reflection. Kind of like the upper is silver/gold and lower is black. Maybe something to that affect would be nice. Black hood and lower 2/3 of the panels but silver or gold along the top. Hard to describe what I am talking about. Second favorite of mine would be the third 1:1 down. The Gold just looks great with the white top. Classic

I know it is hard to come up with a color. I am to that point with a Defender hardbody pickup conversion and was just thinking of asking the same type of question on here.

I think the gold is just a reflection from the walls/ceiling.

I would 2 tone it white and red but that's just me. Rook82 actually has a good idea too.

Gold, black top maybe would be real different, the black wheels and bumpers would tie it together hmmm.

Or maybe an Olympia Baja Bronco Replica. I'm a HUGE fan of tradition...
