Big back yard, sunk in the creek adventures!

Got a big back yard backing on to a good sized Mountian. I've been building trails as often as I can. Got a hillside right out the back door and it goes from there. I've gotten addicted to trailbuding as much as the rest of the hobby. Cleared another fifty feet of creek today! Just bored and felt like throwing some pics up, lll throw more up later http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...r/photo-19.jpg [IMG]http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...r/photo-17.jpg [IMG]http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMG_9221.jpg.

That's just one of the four, only one I sink deep in the river. Half the "park" is still under snow.

Seven and a half acres, girlfriends grandfathers property. He's just happy were enjoying the land. It would take you about an hour and a half to run most of the trails quickly. Got plans for more trails. Once you start uncovering the rocks it's hard to stop.

Damn nice area!

Hope you can get some video of the trail runs, would probably inspire a lot of us. And make me cry since land features around here = crap.

I'm thinking that would be fun to get a few videos going. I want to get more pictures up too to show some of the other terrain we've got. The new river section made today is better than the first one.I love livin in the forest.!!

Re: Big back yard, sunk in the creek adventures!

River took its toll this week . I waterproof my rig with four or five balloons esc and reciever inside. I zap strap the bottom Of the neck of said balloon. then fill the neck with waterproof grease and a few more zap straps. I've been sinking that honcho deep for about five months and not thought about re doing the balloons. Turns out the grease drys up over time... Reciever got damp. Fried the stock servo. Since its goin in the. Creek I got the twenty dollar tower pro servo. Filled it with grease and epoxy coated it... Waterproofing failed on that Servo. Got another servo in... Water proofed and we shall see how it goes. Figured out a few ways to do a better job this time. Got one shot of the built portion of the trails before the truck died. Supposed to be sunny tommorow! http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...r/photo-65.jpg
