Now I'm confused :(

So reading on here I had thought that the diff, ring, and pinion from the ax10 axle could fit perfectly in the wraith axle, but yesterday at the lhs the guy told me that the pinion and ring are different? Is that true? I'm lost now because I planned on getting a wraith axle to use on my one build because the gearing is really close to the slash ifs gearing. If its true that it's different what gearing is it?

He does not know what he is talking about. Honcho, Dingo, Ax10, and Wraith all come with this:

AX30392

TowerHobbies.com | AX30392 Axial Bevel Gear Set (38/13)

Why are you talking to the LHS guy about crawlers, when you are a supporting member of RCC?

Well he showed me the wraith book and I don't know the numbers by heart so when he said they were different I believed him, I had doubt because I remember seeing that they're the same but I just needed clarification for it. Now I know not to believe him lol

I guess The guy is kind of right!! Wraith has a hole drilled in the pinion shaft and the ax10 didnt! So I guess it would be going back to the old style grub screw! But it looks like axial is going to the pin screw on all there new rigs!

I was trying to figure out the price for getting one wraith axle like the housing, c hubs, knuckles, and shafts. I had planned on just placing the diff from my ax10 axles in the wraith when he told me they were different. Shouldn't have doubted myself lol

All new ones produced will have the hole in the pinion.
