i believe i saw somewhere on here somebody did the same paint thing i did,sofar just paint and custom trail bumpers. spare tires in the mail and leds(12000) in the mail!! tell me what you think!

the paint turned out really good but this thing climbs so good i couldnt help my self after i put it back together to climb up the walls and tv and stuff like that. the paint was still very soft so it has trail damage before it hit the trail!!

It looks great!

I would love to paint & detail ours but it's too much fun rolling over on it's side.

I may have to do a 'shelf' body for it..............the orange is getting old.

Scratches
 
One thing I found useful was to wrap the side rails, cage, and bumper in electrical tape.They're painted black so it matches and protects the finish. If they take a really hard knock and scratch all the way through, I'll just re-wrap them instead of repainting...

i was thinking of the same thing with that fiber like tape almost like the stuff on a old tennis racket
