I strongly sugest adding wheel wells to your rig. Whether you ride in dirt, gravle, sand, snow, any thing. They work great to keep anything the tires kick up out and your electronics clean, Not to mention add a nice scale look. I'll get some pictures for examples.

Good thought with the margarine container! CD storage containers also work. I made mine from black styrene, I hate it when the paint chips off white. I'll have to take some pics to post up.
