Default Rod end mod or other options?

I'm looking to upgrade my suspension for the upcoming season. I'm cosidering two different options. Rod end mod on a set of big bores or one of these, the Jeepin Doug stand offs JeepinDoug's stand off shock ball mounts, 5mm and 6mm
or the Eric Delux big bore shock ends ****Big Bore Shock end SALE $7 a set!!!**** .

Just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks in advance.

I have Doug's stand offs and really like how they work with the Losi

Crawlers on my Wraith.

I use both of them on a V4 Berg Beetlejuice. They both work great and Jeepin' Dougs allow you to get the shock spaced a little further from the frame with the included spacers.

Cool. Thanks for the replies. I'm not afraid of the rod end mod but I'd rather not do work I don't have to.

It depends on how long you want them to end up...With the 4" models you wouldnt want to do the rod end mod because they would be too long, with the 3.5" you could go either way depending on chassis, axles, etc.

By the way, you'll need the 5mm ones for Big Bores 4" or shorter.

That I know. Thats why I'm asking before buying anything. I do have two other questions though. If I switch to mini t springs on a 4" shock, I need to use rear springs right? And what is the hole size of the axial comp shocks?
Thanks again for all the info guys.

You can use either. I have a complete set of front and rears still in the package. PM me if you're interested.
