Default My Backyard Course

Hey guys. I've been working on this course since February as a 2.2/super course in my backyard (lower driveway). It was filled with old fill from construction down my road and all the rain we had last fall sort of cut out this awesome gully into the side. It was about 20 feet long and at about a 50* incline with tons of loose dirt and rocks (really fun on my low-wheel-speed clod with 55t motors and 8t pinions!). It was hard and I kept playing around with it until I had the idea of making a small bridge over one part with old wood to make a figure 8. One thing led to another and I started digging parts out and filling others in. I the added another "bridge" close to the other and it was pretty hard. On vacation, I was bored so I started using tons of scrap wood, ceramic bricks, and some other weird things to make an awesome course. Sadly my 7 year old nihms died before I finished so i am desperately trying to finish my bully because I don't feel like buying lipos and a cutoff for the clod. Heres some finished pics! They were taken two months ago when I finished so there's still snow on the ground.

Top view... clean pallet is for standing on when it gets muddy out

This is going to be hard, the two pieces of wood are too wide for 2.2 and the screen is basically gone so its a big chasm.

View looking up the hillclimb. Pictures don't do the steepness justice

Where I'm standing is now dug out to make a nice flat standing area

Rocks!

The two bridges

Yes that is a road cone, no i didn't steal it.

Well thats my crawler course! can't wait to try it out.

are you going to setup some gates, or is it more of a free for all?

Once some other people around me get crawlers and are willing to come down here, i'll probably have little comps and maybe i will just set up gates to see if i can make them. I will mostly do free crawlin tho
