Question Swamp dogs(Boggers) V.S. Moabs

Hey everyone, i'm planning on making a sorta scale extreme nylint with a lexan body, 4 link, blah, blah, blah... I'm planning on putting on 2.2's and i was thinking either moabs or boggers. i like the look of boggers and they're 4.75 in., but i've heard that moabs are about the best tire for the rocks and they're 5 in.

i like the taller ride height of the moabs, and i love the looks of the boggers, but is the performance of the moabs good enough for me to opt for them instead of the boogers?

i only want people with experiance with one or both tires to post

It sounds like you need people who have experience with both tires.

I have had Moabs on my 1:18 for the last 6 months and I just love em. They are a vast improvement over the stock Nylint tires. I like them so much ( that even though it was a bit pricey )I have allready ordered Moabs for my 1:6.

I could brag on that tire forever. It's a great tire. How does it compare to a Bogger? I have never had one.

I know you said for only people with experience with one or the other or both to post, but I've read plenty of tire-shootout articles on RCC. Let's just say, that Moabs and Boggers are for different purposes. Moabs are strictly for crawling, and for that, they are great tires. For anything else, they are poor-mediocre. Boggers, are mediocre on rocks, but in dirt/mud, they are great. For a combination of both, I suggest M2ks. Best All-t tire in my opinion.

Thanks guys, but the problem with m2k's is that they don't look at all scale, and i'm kinda going for a semi-scale look. moads look like they could be a real tire, and the boggers(swamp dogs) are based off real boggers which you can purchase for your real truck. right now i'm leaning toward moabs, but i do a lot of dirt too.
