The t rex 60 axles are cheap but to make them. Crawl worthy u must upgrade drive axles and diff pinion both will let u down if u plan on crawlin anything bigger than a stone but once upgraded are trouble free and pretty durable. I have a timberwolf chassis and t rex 60 combo the set up is very decent not very top heavy at all just gotta weight the rims the timberwolf though does not come with a body or panels the recluse does

best answer to your questions, go to the scale 2.2 section and search for wreckluse. there are tons of builds there with parts breakdowns. will give you lots of ideas. they make a killer looking rig when done right.

This will help Wreckluse Feedback, Support & FAQ
Start with recommended links an go from there. The skid is a direct bolt up for Axial trans. It is nice to have the spur cover. Plenty of AX10 trans on ebay. You'll pay extra for a Wraith tranny

If your not the best at building then this hobby may not be for you. Both the wreckluse and the timberwolf RTR will involve maintenance, repair, and rebuilding.

Those axles that come with the timberwolf aren't very strong and won't last long compared to a set of axial axles.

Trust me, if you bought a timberwolf then you most certainly will have to 'BUILD' something sooner or later to keep the truck running.

True, but something closer to "ready to rock" is probably better than having to fab right out of the box. This way he can ease into it and learn as he goes.

I agree, but do you think a RTR SCX10 might be a better choice for a not so good builder to learn on as opposed to the RC4WD stuff?

It's hard to beat an SCX-10 or similar RTR's for ease of use and noob-user friendliness, but the Wreckluse and RC4WD trucks do have a certain coolness factor that's tough to resist.

Hey guys got a question. I just got mine up and running its using leftover wraith parts. The problem is I have no torque. did you guys change the gear rate or something? Mines every bit as fast as my scx10 but has almost no climbing ability. I havent swithched to lipo yet want to use up my batts I have. Anyone got any ideas? heres a link to my facebook my pics are on there. https://www.facebook.com/daniel.kersey.982
