Its confusing to say the least. Thanks for not being a dick about it.

Im sorry, I tend to imagine that those of us making parts are pretty quick at skimming the threads for info. the question was answered a few times in different ways(post 6,post 22 ect.) I didnt feel I was being a dick, I have a really cool video about a square peg/round hole(it even shows the 8*angle and the issue of putting the peg in the hole) But posting that video would truely be a DICK move. Nuff said cant wait to comp with ya'll next weekend.Back at ya

Also Erik something like felsenfest knuckles with a longer distance between the bearing and the kingpin hole would be all that is required to use a standard ax10/berg C hub from what I can tell. I think egressor even made a set at one stage to use XR10 uni's on a ax10, maybe I was imagining it though.

EDIT found it http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axles...ml#post3024421

Also does the XR10 set use a axial style drive tang or your usual berg style?

Kieren

Kieren- I havent had the time to pic up the rest of the little things that I want to post pics of though obviously you get the hole 8*angle part wont be accepted by a straight part.

I was totally unaware of these EGGRESSor knuc's those are pretty "BA"
and would definetily work great with the new product im sure. Personally if I was spending the money for the shafts and knuckles Id want the 8* as well. Though its always nice to know of the options out there.

As Krawl' showed in the pic the XR's use a stock style drive tang. While I dont like that style it wasnt feesible to make a new gear locker and try and have it work with all of the variations out there!

If you think it will help everyone understand I will change the description

Saying "Axial 8*knuckle to Wraith Knuckle Adapters" makes it look like you CAN run a AX10 8* knuckle if you use an adapter. So, if you can run an AX10 8* knuckle, you should be able to run a NON 8* AX10 with those adapters since they are basically the same thing.

Come to find out, you cannot run anything other than a Wraith knuckle.

You would be better off calling it a "Axial 8* C hub to Wraith Knuckle Adapters". That way it looks like its an adapter from a C to a knuckle (which it is).

If I were to plug my iphone into the wall I would not want a "wall to wall adapter". I would need a "USB to wall adapter".

Maybe now you can see why I was confused? Looks like you were as confused as I was thinking I wanted to put an 8* knuckle on a NON 8* C All the acronyms and nomenclature gets confusing, especially if you have never seen the product or know how it works. Its obvious now though that I have the answer and I can go back and read posts by others that explain this.

I am better at accepting beers than apologies

See you this weekend

Yes 300m is far superior to anything else out there when it comes to axle shafts. Therefore there is no other material I will use.

If you put up a pic before it is available for actual sale on this forum ( hell maybe even after ) someone will copy it and declare it their own idea.

x2

Looks like a high school click has formed around here.

I dont see people giving Dave crap for making a universal shaft with re-buildable u-joints since Dana did it before him

In fact, Highland crawler and myself were doing the universal to berg mod way before these were out....

Obviously HC went MIA, but if anyone would deserve credit, it's me because I was the first one to put universals in a berg
