|  Which spur gear and pinion gear with 35t motor
Hi have axial sax10 and just got a tekin fxr and hand wound 35t motor with stock gears but it does not move very smoothe any input would be great thanks.

Hold the pinion gear on your motor, rock the spur gear back and forth, you want just a small 'tick' of movement. If there's zero clearance between the two gears, your mesh is set too tight. Also check for rocks in your gear teeth. You'd be surprised how small of a rock it takes to cause a problem. |
