I've ordered delrin from McMaster-Carr, but is was a bit pricey. There is a US Plastics factory approx. 30mins from my house, they have a "store" that sells scraps/drops from they're machining processes. Call around to any plastic manufacturers near your area, that'd be a good start.

Interstate Plastics, that's where I used to get my Delrin. And 8-32 is the size of the threaded rod or grub screws you would need to drill and tap the rod for the rod ends, or 4mm. I wouldn't use anything less than 5/16" Delrin for links. When I made them, the lowers were 3/8" and the uppers 5/16" Shoot me a PM and I can hook you up with some of either size for a good price.

You could go to ckrccrawlers.com, they have 1 or 2 foot lengths for cheap. I got two and it was just under $10 shipped. Plus, it already has a 3mm hole drilled all the way through.

I got mine from Amazon......5/16" is what I used,a little flexy but not too bad. It's like 9 bucks for a 24" rod
