Default Dont hate, but just took the nylint crawling *pics inside*

Not sure if this is the right section so if its wrong please move

Is anyone still running these? Probably not, but untill I can afford parts for my Datsun build this is all Ive got. The thing did pretty good, only problems were getting hung up on the tub and radio reception distance. But overall it was pretty decent.

Then on the way home a wheel fell off. I lost a screw somewhere. Oh well

X2. My first was a Maisto, then a Nylint. There are people still running these btw. Ther are alot of mods too. The "tummy tuck" will get rid of that high centering problem you speak of. Wish I had a trail like that to run on.

Thanks man, when I got it it already had a few mods done, Body trimmed, roll cage removed, tires reversed, shocks in boarded and inner shafts cut (but the guy did it wrong cause they keep popping out, have to add limiting straps) When I got it I cut some tread off the tires and tried to replace the drive belt with an O ring, but it was too small and snapped. But after putting the original back in, it worked a million times better. Ive been debating wether or not to do a tummy tuck, cause Id have to figure out what to do with the battery. That trail is just down the street from me, there was a really steep gulley I tried to climb up but it just rolled

Wheel time is wheel time, don't care what you driving, if you had fun you won. Showed up at my first club comp/gtg with a old tlt axled Crawler store scale chassis(their first) with a rustler tranny, still running stick packs. Was surrounded by nothing but current scalers and 2g wraiths. Had a blast, still run sticks and brushed. People that bash/hate are just trying to justify the crazy money they spent.

Its pretty good, I traded a junked pocket bike worth about $25 for it :P With the mods on it I get about 8" of flex before the shocks fall apart. Its tough too, whenever it has a rollover its always at the top of a slope, and it usually falls atleast 10 feet (I havent quite mastered the art of driving these things yet) Id have the windsheild on it but without the cage it doesnt stay in by itself, and when the last kid did a terrible job spray bombing it he got overspray all over the clear part

I had a few nylints back n the day when they 1st came out. I had 2of the jeep style & my son had 1of the small hummer n 1of the big hummer style . I wanted something fun to do with my son n get him into rc stuff. We modded them with tummy tucks, paint jobs, led lighys front n rear, comp cut 1of my jeeps, n cut the tires to look more like a swamper bogger. We had a blast modding n crawlin n our backyard. Needless to say he is hooked on rc crawlers.
He is wantin to build a crawler out of my old 2.5 tmaxx now.

Use WD40 or DOT 4 brake fluid to get the paint off the windshield. Before you go to far with modding this beast, look into getting a cheep AX10, RS10 Rockslide or something. You will be SO happy you did.

probably not going to mod it much more, Im not really going to bother with paint or anything with the windsheild, it would just break anyway. Just gonna keep bashing it untill I get some parts for my 1:12 Datsun

Do the tummy tuck you wont regret it!. Just cut out the interior and make a strap for your battery so it doesnt fall out. You can also remove the rear motor from the front of the axle and put it on the top of the axle and run the belt through to give yourself a better rear approach by chopping off that big tumor in front of the rear wheels.
