Modified Clod Buster VS Wraith

Does it pay to put money into a clod buster or should I just work on my wraith? I already own a clod but its still old school. A crawler chassis will run around $225 and I still have stock electronics. Whats your guys opinion?

Well here's a somewhat interesting question! Good job. "thumbsup"

The Clod will end up being a very custom (money pit) that will end up being a superior crawler. You won't get the Wraith to hang with a Clod in its best form. The Clod is just barely bettered by the Berg in the hands of the same driver, and that may not be the case every time.

Look into a home made torsion chassis for the Clod, that'll get it crawling good for not much more than the cost of a U channel piece of aluminum. Electronics can go a few routes. Dig servo to throw a switch, dig units like Punk RC, or two ESCs. It just depends on your wallet fatness and desire. Or 4 wheel steer, I guess.
