there are how many scx10's on the market right now?
honcho, dingo, custom retro, scorpion xc-1, and whatever else is out there...but to introduce a new body on an old platform isnt exactl brilliant.

and i agree, Axial better step up and grow a pair!

IFS or KOH
then im in!

I don't see why everyone is complaining about this rig not suiting them. If axial made a rig to suit everyone, they would have to make thousands of different variations. Chevrolet doesn't make the big bucks selling Corvettes or CTSV's. They have to sell the Volt's,Impala's,Silverado's and Tahoe's to get by. What i'm trying to say is, you have to make your bread winners before you can make the cool stuff. Although, I think this rig is pretty sweet. It's brought us some new scale goodies and some new tires to the scene. But that's just my opinion and I know it doesn't matter.

From SEMA. Just phone pics, have some better pics on my camera. Keep checking the Bower Motorsports Media FB and I'll see if I can upload them.

This is a cool rig though, and the target market should eat it up.

I like it, a lot. I will own one once the kit comes out for sure.

Some of you are being a little harsh to Axial. The scx-10 has just gone to a whole new level.. We've got a licensed body AND tires on a RTR truck from Axial. That's pretty darn cool. I hope they sell a zillion of them and continue to improve and hopefully some cool stuff will come in the future.

It's really important to bring in new people to our hobby. It's really not that big despite what we see here on RCC... In my state for instance, I think you could count on one hand the number of members we have from VT. And we've got MOUNTAINS everywhere to crawl on.. If this gets a whole bunch of new people interested well that's awesome.

I don't know how to quote from TapaTalk but HOLY AXLES! They're like mini Rock-Jock 60s! Where did you get that image from? I need to know more!

Nevermind, found them in the vendors section. Can't wait to get home and check these out. No lockouts? So good!

Looks good to me. Should be a big money maker for Axial/Hobbico. I wonder if they are going to do theme bodies like the Sema Maxxis one above?

Just needs fenderwells and lowered a bit. Wish they would have copied the sticky Treps tread. Yes that's nit picky.....

Edit, on additional examination, the Treps are the sticky tread style....

I dig it. Swing-out tire carrier, Poison Spyder bumpers with D-rings and shackles, scale Maxxis tires on a proven chassis...what's not to like?

Just need to fill that big empty spot in the mail box now.

When I saw the new Jeep I was like "meh" another jeep. But when my seven year-old son got home from school I told him Axial released the new truck today. We've been waiting as we are Axial fans.

He has his own Wraith yet, never had really got into my Honcho. The first thing he said when he saw the Jeep on the Axial website, was "I want one!" I told him, "but it is just like my Honcho, just with a Jeep body".

He said, "I don't care, I want one". So I say, Axial, you have a hit on your hands.

Also, what a wonder as far as marketing goes, just about a week ago my son was asking, "what does Poison Spyder make for RC?" and all I knew of was a diff cover for his Wraith. He thinks the PS bumpers and fenders are awesome.
