You would have very little clearance, the axle would hang up on every little thing.

Use a set of wheels for the rear of an Electric Stampede. You dont need an adapter because Stampede's are 12mm hex and so is a Clod. The Clod axles are wider than TLT axles but clearance is still good. You could do this with TXT axles too, if you want driveshafts. Wait till the New IMEX 2.2 Att-T tire comes out, my 2.2 Clod will be running them and the tires should be sweet on the Clod axles. | |

Thanks Paul. I loved that rig also. Schweet lookin wheel. It looks like it will werk Paul, but I can not be 100 percent sure if the offset is right and it doesn't say if it is a hex drive.. The HPI website is confusing about what fits on an electric stampede. Read here and decide for yourself. http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm I have a set of the old HPI Super Star 5 spokes and they werked but pushed the tires out more than the Traxxas wheels. If a wheel does not have enough offset it will allow the wheels to rub on the knuckle pivot screws. I have only tried wheels designed for the Electric Stampede and know that they werk. I am sure something else will werk but I have not tried it. Here are some Stampede/Rustler wheels, if you don't like them buy 2 of the HPI's and try it. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...el&FVPROFIL=++ |
