Default weird turning of axles during articulation

basically the title tells you everything but what happening is if i lift the right front tire the front axle starts to steer itself to the right the axle physically slants and makes it steer to the right. right now my lower links are about half an inchlower than the the upper links so if i move them up so that the upper links are like say... an inch and a half above the lower would that take care of the problem of is it something i just have to live with? o yeah its a clod axle crawler with the links mounted in the normal spots on the axles
Thanks

Links are too short or too steep. Its a normal thing to an extent, mine probably does a .5" either way.

You shouldn't accept it. There are ways around it, but it can be a problem with the wrong suspension geometry. You're lucky its a clod and not a shafty though, with a shafty, the truck leans from torque to the side, and will steer because of it.

yeah try to get your links as parallel to the ground as possible. Axle steer is caused by only triangulating the top or only the bottom(if the links are flat when you articulate it shouldn't matter.). If the problem continues then try triangulating the uppers and the lowers.

A dual triangulated 4 link will still do this, albeit less. If the links are too steep, it'll do it regardless.
