So I broke down and bought one of these things... Battery is charging, have not even driven it yet. It better be cool because I am sacrificing my 95 New Bright Renegade for it :flipoff: Building at full compression... I need to trim some more to get the body on the chassis, then start with the comp cut (dremel is charging now as well) http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/dl/nylint/front.jpg http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/dl/nylint/frontside.jpg http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/dl/nylint/side.jpg Check out the precision cutting skills in the tub there... that used to have a full floor and backset. http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/dl/nylint/top.gif My real junk... http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/jeep/myjeep/PA220024.jpg http://jcroffroad.com/trips/Badlands...s/PB120023.jpg |
the body doesn't look right on the chassis... but it looks pretty good when compared to your 1:1... which is AMAZING! |
as it sits rite now im sure its not done and will look better when all mounted up. thats a good replication of the 1:1. |

Here is my rough (no sanding, cleaning, or paint) comp cut at full ride height... http://www.evilmonkeymedia.com/dl/nylint/comp.jpg Probably going to totally cut the front bumper off (because it's ugly) and I think it needs to come down in height some as well. If I get bored in the next few days I will pull the windshield and make a copy of my cage. The tires flex perfectly in to the body now, and it's way fun to drive. |

EDIT: fraud |
monkeyevil, i think the cage is what is holding the looks of that body back. |
