Default Some candid feedback

Looks like my rc days are headed in a new direction. Got my youngest a Losi MRC and my oldest a quadcopter for Christmas. My girlfriend got them a helicopter too. They seem to like flying more than the ground stuff! Thinking about selling off my bigger rc stuff. Keeping the smaller ones and going airborne. Any thoughts? I've got an ax10 and an associated b44 I would be parting with.

I like flying but there is no way I would give up the surface stuff. My 4pl gets a lot more use than my dx6i. I would wait and see how you feel after the novelty has worn off instead of dumping the cars now.

No way I would even think about giving up crawlers or racing to go flying. The cost associated with flying is going to be way higher. I have a buddy who used to fly and said a gust of wind = atleast 250 bucks that's if anything is salvageable after the crash. I'm not tryin to paint a dismal picture but think about it if you roll a crawler your out 35 bucks for a new body if you have any damage. You crash an airplane or heli and your out a lot more. Just my experience and my 2cents. Flying is fun but I wouldn't sell my crawler or race Truggy to do it.

I really like flying both planks and helis as well as crawlers and racers. But if I had to choose between surface and air, surface would win.

I'm getting into flying. Just bought a foamy plane to try and if I don't like it then it hasn't cost much. I will still have cars anyway. There is also a local boat club, but it's even more expensive than air stuff.

I would rather have my money pit stay grounded (mostly) than a money pit flying high above me. Keep your crawlers

I'm torn as well sometimes, but the money factor gets me... Its cheaper to build rigs for my kids than it is to build and repair heli's for them.

My Quadcopter gets more flight time then my 6 Crawlers

I love them both, but seem to do more FPV
also the quad gets more attention from On-Lookers
especially at night when I light it up...........

But..........
I would never get out of 4WD RC
My plans are......... when I die (Open casket I hope)
I will get buried with one of my Monster Trucks
so that in 2000 years from now, the archaeologists will dig me up
and be puzzled as to why a Grown man would play with RC's

Happy New Year
Regards Rick
