That's a blackfoot extreme, not a super blackfoot. Super blackfoot did not have the solid front bumper or the 90s styled ford body.

Check ebay for the parts. You should be able to download a manual and parts list from tamiyausa.com

Lots of parts on EBAY... But nothing like that piece. I did find a parts breakdown.... But could not really figure out the part number system they use. I think I can make the part thats broke using a piece of alum,... it wont be perfect.. but it should work great. I want to give the truck to my Grandson for xmas.... I'm going to slow it down like a crawler for him. he is only 7. |

Your best bet is to go to Tamiya's site and do some investigating. I can't tell you how many times they change the part numbers around. Find the original part number and sometimes it will give you a new alternate part number from another kit. Tamiya LOVES to re-use parts on their kits. Many kits use the same parts. Just because the part number is discontinued doesn't mean they don't make the same part in another kit. One of my trucks sat for 3 years before I figured that out.

I got the truck fixed... I made the part out of alum using the old part as a pattern. It works great... Its pretty fast.. to fast for my Grandson. Next item is a 45T crawler motor That should slow it down nicly. Next is to clean up the body and get some cool stickers for it. Thanks for all the help. |
