VOODOO's are on the way!!!

Well, the pre-order samples are finally on the way! I will quickly check them for form and function, and, if everything checks out (which it will), I'll place the factory order the same day. There were a few reasons for the delay. First, there have been many labor issues in Asia (I had many very interesting conversations with several rccrawler members about this, thank you for the interesting and enlightening conversation!). And secondly, as you all know, I ordered a custom rubber which required an outside chemical engineering firm to compound and produce. Our rubber is similar to, but not the same as, the rubber found on other high end tires. Everything from the lugs to the overall shape of our tires was 100% uniquely designed and I wanted the rubber compound to be a signature product as well.

PRE-ORDER STATUS: As soon as I give the factory the green light to produce the order, ottsix.com will go live and pre-ordering will begin.

IMPORTANT PRE-ORDER INFORMATION: I have fielded hundreds emails about pre-ordering...there is a very good possibility that our entire first factory order of Voodoo's will sell out as pre-orders. When they are sold out, the next factory order may take a month to several months to complete...it all depends on how quickly the factory moves on the order.

PRE-ORDERING WILL BE OPEN TO EVERYONE...I HAVE NOT ACCEPTED AN MONEY FROM ANYONE (ANY AND ALL UNSOLICITED MONEY THAT WAS SENT TO OTTSIX FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRE-ORDERING THE VOODOO WAS PROMPTLY RETURNED...SO IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT A SET, THEY'RE WRONG!)

Not to sound like THAT guy but no chance of moving that work from Asia to the good ol USA huh? I know cost is HUGE but I'd think in this economy the factories would clammer for work.

In any event...hope all works out & ya get em on the rock soon.

I ain't paying $90 per set of 2 just to be made here. This idea that american made is a good idea is terrible.

We need to be like the other great industrial power, move on and realize what are strengths have become.

Wow. Way to support our economy. But ya missed the point. That post wasn't about American made, American jobs or outsourcing. It was about the continued labor disputes & issues they've had. Thats all. Would I rather see em made in America? Hell yeah! Would I pay a little extra? Absolutely! But I also fully understand the trials & tribulations of owning a business since Ive owned mine for almost 20 years. Ya gotta survive.
