what brand spur gears worth with scx10 tranny?

i have the stock 87p spur on my tranny but would like to drop down to something like a 84p. i dont see axial selling that size spur gear (they do have a 80p). suggestions? i want to make sure i have one that works with the slipper.

The white delrin Robinson Racing ones are the best, I tried a Kimbrough once and all the teeth folded over in the first ten feet.

I found the Robinson spurs to be just as brittle as Kimbrough. As in, they shear off. Axials "fold" over as they're softer. In my experience.

White Traxxas gears are where it's at. Not soft, not brittle, just right.

I went to 32 pitch 60 tooth Kimbrough for RC10 GT, Brood Chaos 35T HHK arm hasn't hurt it so far and clears the MIP shafts.

Traxxas rustler,slash

The only thing is you have to do the whole slipper assembly

Total it cost about $25
